Antonio Rivero Taravillo
Born in Melilla in 1963, has published, among others, the travel books of Cities man and Sentimental Journey through England, the test Centuries of light: heroes, myths and legends of medieval epic and lyric , plus poems Farewell to Poesy and The tree of life .
His essay With an accent. Cernuda musings on the "English" , issued by the Diputación de Sevilla, Seville Archive won the 2005 in its form of literature.
For his work as a literary translator has received several awards and grants from various agencies, among which are the Irish Translators Association and the ILE (Irish Literature Exchange). His version of Shakespeare's Sonnets was nominated for the National Translation Award 2005, the year he won the Andalusian Award for Literary Translation by their versions of Keats. Antonio Rivero
Taravillo Comillas has won the 2007, which was awarded to 'Fire With Snow' , an essay on the years of the great English poet Luis Cernuda Seville.
